Terms of Service
1. Who we are
PilotsGate ("PilotsGate", "we", "our") is a regulated escrow-backed broker for pilot training services, operated by the PilotsGate group of companies including PilotsGate Türkiye Ltd Şti, PilotsGate UK Ltd, and PilotsGate USA LLC. Your contractual counterparty is determined by your license authority and is disclosed before any payment.
2. What we do
We match pilot candidates ("Candidates") with vetted training providers ("Providers"). We hold your training funds in a Merchant of Record (Paddle) escrow flow and release each milestone-gated installment to the Provider only after the corresponding training milestone has been verified and approved.
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age and legally able to enter contracts in your jurisdiction.
- You must hold a valid pilot license (or in the case of ab-initio programs, meet the training school's intake criteria).
- You must complete KYC verification before any contract is finalized.
- Residents of jurisdictions where pay-to-fly is prohibited (currently France) cannot use line-training services.
4. Payments
All payments are processed through Paddle as Merchant of Record. Pricing is in USD or EUR as displayed. Any installment overdue by more than 14 days may result in slot loss without further refund obligation.
5. Refunds and cancellations
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Force-majeure events trigger full refund per policy. All other cancellations are subject to the staged refund matrix.
6. Provider performance
If a Provider fails to deliver training as contracted, PilotsGate refunds the Candidate per policy and pursues recovery from the Provider on its own balance sheet. Candidates do not bear the cost of a Provider default.
7. Conduct on the platform
Direct contact between Candidates and Providers outside the platform prior to contract signature is prohibited and may void protections. All communications must pass through the platform inbox.
8. Liability
Our maximum aggregate liability to you is limited to the sum of fees paid by you to PilotsGate in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, save for liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9. Governing law
Each contract is governed by the law of the PilotsGate entity counterparty disclosed at signature. Disputes are resolved by the dispute mechanism specified in your contract (typically arbitration in Istanbul, London, or New York depending on the entity).
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated to active accounts at least 14 days before they take effect.
