Boeing 737 · Type Rating + Line Training

B737 type rating + line training,
escrow-protected.

A complete Boeing 737NG or 737 MAX type rating plus supervised line flying through authority-vetted carriers. Sky Aviation Group escrow releases your money milestone by milestone, not all at once.

B737 program structure

A PilotsGate B737 package combines:

  1. Type Rating (TR), 4–8 weeks at an authority-approved Part-147 / 142 ATO. Ground school, FBT, full-flight simulator (≈ 36–40 hours on 737NG sim), Type Rating Skill Test (TRST), base training where applicable.
  2. Line Training (LT), 200–500 sectors flown with a Line Training Captain on the carrier's actual route network until line check sign-off.

Operator matching by license

  • FAA license holders, US and international FAA Part 121 / 135 carriers operating 737NG
  • EASA license holders, EU low-cost B737 operators (Ryanair training partners, SunExpress, smaller cargo carriers)
  • SHGM license holders, Pegasus, AnadoluJet, MNG and Turkish cargo operators on the 737NG fleet
  • UK CAA, Jet2, TUI Airways training partners (Part 21 operators with B737 fleets)

Indicative pricing

B737 type rating + line training packages typically cost $35,000 – $50,000 USD. PilotsGate breaks this into:

  • Application Fee: $499 (refundable, credited to Stage 1 on progression)
  • Stage 1, Booking: $5,000
  • Stage 2, Pre-contract: $25,000
  • Stage 3, Training: $10,000 (milestone-released during line flying)

Final price quoted at operator matching. Variant (737-700/800/900/MAX) and sector count affect the total.

How is this different from buying directly?

Without PilotsGate, you wire your money to the operator (or a broker) before training starts. If the operator collapses, loses its AOC, or simply refuses to train you, you have no recovery path. With PilotsGate's Sky Aviation Group escrow:

  • Stage 2 is released only after operator contract signature + ground school start verification
  • Stage 3 is released milestone by milestone as you log real sectors with the LTC
  • If the operator fails before line check, unreleased funds remain in escrow and are recoverable per the refund policy

Prerequisites

  • Frozen ATPL or CPL/IR (license valid at training start)
  • Class 1 medical (valid through completion)
  • ICAO English Level 4+ (5+ preferred for EU)
  • MCC + JOC, see MCC / JOC page
  • Total time: 250+ hours (operator-dependent, some require 500+)
